The Win-Direct TN3270 Client is a full-featured and easy-to-use 3270E client for Windows.

The Win-Direct TN3270 Client provides an easy and powerful interface from any PC on your network to your mainframe host. Win-Direct TN270 Client runs as a standard TN3270 or TN3270E client of the telnet server on your mainframe. You can connect to the mainframe over your existing telnet gateway, or you can connect with I/O Concepts’ X-Direct 3270 ESCON Gateway, our X-Direct Coax Gateway or our Win-Direct 3270 Coax Gateway.

The Win-Direct TN3270 Client emulates an IBM terminal. Standard 3278/3279 emulation is supported, and we also support the 3179G graphical terminal.

The Win-Direct TN3270 Client runs Windows 95/98/2000 and Windows XP.

You can automate file transfers, monitor mainframe activity, query a mainframe database and copy selected data. An EHLLAPI Programming Interface is also available.
• Your user can format text and background colors.
• You can specify a telnet server, mainframe host, and mainframe session for your client to connect to and a macro to run once that session is established.
• National languages are supported. Dialog boxes, menu items, and emulator messages are easily modified for any language.
• Keyboard mapping is easy with our graphical keyboard interface.
• SoftKeys feature connects operator functions to a mouse-activated on-screen keypad.
• Create and arrange resizable buttons on a pad then assign any series of functions to them. File transfers, keyboard macros, API or GoScript executables can be programmed to SoftKeys.
• APL support using APL fonts provided by I/O Concepts.
• Online help provides quick answers about all Win-Direct products. Help topics and text can be modified to support national languages.
