I/O Concepts Coax TN3270E Console Gateway

We recognize that some organizations still have 3174 controllers in use. For those of you that are still using the 3174 controller we have a solution to easily bring those consoles into a modern management solution.

The I/O Concepts TN3270E Coax Gateway connects to the 3174 controller via coax and then provides a TN3270E interface. This will allow you to remotely manage your mainframe LPAR's that are currently using 3174 controllers.

The beauty of the I/O Concepts solution is if you decide to move to OSA ICC or other ESCON connected options you can continue to use the Console Consolidation software to manage your system. This means as you move forward with technology you can have a seem-less technology transition.

Form Factor

Up to 16 ISA cards installed in a mini-tower or rack-mounted chassis. The chassis is attached to the SCSI (PCI or PCX) bus of a Unix or NT host.
